Hi, I'm Nicoline the person behind BerthyKnit. My knitting adventure began 1 June 2022 - the day after my beloved mother had passed away. I instantly felt how the needles empties my brain and the only thing I focused on was the next stitch. Knitting became a huge part of my grieving process, and in some ways it still is.

My first project was a Novice Sweater Junior for my at that time unborn daughter - I was seven months pregnant. It wasn't particularly pretty, but it gave me an urge to create and produce my own pieces, and I haven't looked back ever since.
